New scenarios are created from the fibres of daily events, from our responses to stimuli, and the small choices we make. Once enough of those fibres are wound together, they become threads, and eventually, the winding cord of life stretching into the future. An analogy is found in the steps taken to achieve a major goal. It requires the achievement of many smaller targets, which eventually leads to the overall goal.
