Vihar Lake, Mumbai has been the tourist attraction for many years. The lakes besides this lake are also attractive and people tend to visit this trio every time.

On its northern banks, there is a water treatment plant that has water pipelines running along the eastern fringe of the lake. IIT Bombay is positioned on the southern part of the lake.
